Booker T. Washington and Tate are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2021, but not for long. The Wildcats will square off against the Aggies at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Booker T. Washington managed to keep up with Pace until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Wildcats lost 28-6 to the Patriots. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, the Wildcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Even if they lost, Booker T. Washington's defense still kept up the pressure with eight sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Idanna Yems and Namiyah Maldonado, who racked up four sacks between them. Carmen McCall got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Tate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 41-6 defeat at the hands of Pace. While losing is never fun, the Aggies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while the Patriots are ranked 18th).

Booker T. Washington's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2. As for Tate, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Booker T. Washington beat Tate 20-7 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Aggies' Hannah Pitman, who rushed for 128 yards and one TD on only six carries.
