Davey Ryan gave up the fewest hits he has since back in March of 2025 on Monday. He was unstoppable, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. He has become a key player for Rye Neck: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 1-4 otherwise.

Ryan's strong effort led Rye Neck over The Leffell School and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
