Basketball Recap: Arlington Comes Up Short

Arlington lost against Germantown last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Arlington Tigers took a 50-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Germantown Red Devils.

Arlington has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-9 record this season. Germantown is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-13 record this season.

Arlington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Germantown, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Bartlett at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bartlett knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 games -- so hopefully Germantown likes a good challenge.
