Baseball Game Preview: Interlachen Rams vs. Keystone Heights Indians

Interlachen is 0-6 against Keystone Heights since February of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Rams will square off against the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Interlachen will be strutting in after a win while Keystone Heights will be coming in after a loss.

Interlachen is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They had just enough and edged out P.K. Yonge 8-7. The victory was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on three straight.

Meanwhile, Keystone Heights has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They lost 12-2 to Clay. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Indians have suffered against the Blue Devils since February 16, 2021.

Austin Smith made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

Keystone Heights' loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Interlachen, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.

Interlachen might still be hurting after the 16-2 defeat they got from Keystone Heights in their previous matchup back in February. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
