Baseball Recap: Labette County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Parsons on Thursday, Labette County came back down to earth. The Grizzlies came up short against the Vikings on Monday, falling 12-2. The Grizzlies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 12-0.

Labette County dropped their record down to 4-10-1 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Parsons, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.

Labette County has already played their next contest, a 13-3 loss against Pittsburg on the 13th. Parsons has also already played their next match (against Independence), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
