            Baseball Recap: Lowellville Rockets vs. Brookfield Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            While Lowellville's  win against Brookfield wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rockets narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past the Warriors  8-6. The  win was familiar territory for the Rockets, who have now won three  games in a row.

  Cody Nolfi and  Liam Bartlett did most of the damage at the plate:  Nolfi  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI and one  stolen base, while  Bartlett  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base and two  RBI. Nolfi is becoming a predictor of Lowellville's success: when he posts  at  least three  RBI the team is undefeated (and 3-6 when he doesn't).  Geno Perry was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI.
The  victory  got Lowellville back to even at 6-6. As for Brookfield,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 4-4.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lowellville will host Hubbard  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9  runs per game  this season, so the Rockets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Brookfield, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Newton Falls  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
