Volleyball Recap: Eaton's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to 13

Eaton had already won 12 in a row and they went ahead and made it 13 on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Strasburg Indians with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Reds have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Eaton took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-10, 25-15.

Eaton was led to victory by Skyelyn Lefever and Hayden Logan. Lefever had five aces and four digs, while Logan had four digs and three aces. Lefever is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Eaton was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in ten consecutive matches.

Eaton's record is now 13-1. As for Strasburg, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eaton will host Chatfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Strasburg, they will welcome Simla at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
