Game recap: Highland Park High School Football Team wins against Sherman

DALLAS, Texas - Highland Park (Dallas, Texas) jumped out to an early lead against Sherman (Texas) and never looked back on the way to a 48-7 victory on Saturday.

The Scots put up 14 points in the opening quarter. Highland Park scored on a rushing touchdown and a touchdown run by Brooks Burgin.

After taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter, HP was up 28-7 at the half.

Sherman's only touchdown came on a 30-yard pass from Dalton Felder to Tre Mask in the second quarter.

The Dallas school also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 56-14.
