Volleyball Recap: Ellie Warner and Skylar Miles Secure Win for Fox Creek

Fox Creek entered their tilt with Silver Bluff on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Bulldogs 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Predators also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Fox Creek was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-13, 25-11.

Fox Creek was led to victory by Skylar Miles and Ellie Warner. Miles had seven assists and four aces, while Warner had ten digs and two assists. Those four aces gave Miles a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Fox Creek was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in three consecutive matches.

Fox Creek's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Silver Bluff, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5.

Coming up, Fox Creek will venture away from home to face off against Grovetown at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Silver Bluff, they will welcome Bamberg-Ehrhardt at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
