Volleyball Game Preview: Hoover Tornados vs. Muir Mustangs

Hoover is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Muir a 14-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Hoover Tornados will be playing in front of their home fans against the Muir Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Hoover came up short against Arcadia on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Hoover took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Muir lost 3-0 to Burbank on Thursday.

Muir's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Hoover, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.

Hoover took their win against Muir in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Tornados have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
