Soccer Recap: Intrinsic Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Intrinsic was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They fell just short of the North Shore Country Day Raiders by a score of 2-1. If Intrinsic were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to North Shore Country Day when the teams met back in October of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Intrinsic now has a losing record of 7-8-2. As for North Shore Country Day, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Intrinsic will welcome Steinmetz College Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Intrinsic will be up against Steinmetz College Prep's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.89 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for North Shore Country Day, they will be playing at home against Lake Forest Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
