Soccer Game Preview: Castle View vs. Highlands Ranch

The Castle View Sabercats will head out on the road to square off against the Highlands Ranch Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Castle View is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Mountain Vista, who was ranked fifth at the time (Castle View was ranked sixth). The Sabercats and the Golden Eagles finished up their match with a 0-0 draw on Thursday. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Castle View have been dealt a draw since back in March.

Meanwhile, Highlands Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Chaparral.

With that draw, Castle View's record moves to 7-2-2. As for Highlands Ranch, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-3.
