Meadowcreek extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4-1. They had to suffer through a 50-20 loss at the hands of the Duluth Wildcats. On the bright side, the 20- point performance marked the Mustangs' highest-scoring match to date.

Meadowcreek's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Armani Rodriguez, who picked up 90 receiving yards and one score.

As for Duluth, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-2. The final result isn't all that surprising considering their considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 115th, while Meadowcreek is ranked 287th).

Jahmir Joseph was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 118 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). DeTwann Collins did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 87 receiving yards.
