Cheyenne Mountain was handed a 11-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 win over the Palmer Ridge Bears. That's more bragging rights for the Red-Tailed Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Jansen Roberts, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Noah Reickert, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

Cheyenne Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 8-3-1. As for Palmer Ridge, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-12.

Cheyenne Mountain will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bears: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
