Baseball Recap: New Milford Falls Short of Wallkill Valley in the Playoffs

New Milford and Wallkill Valley squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but New Milford had to settle for second. They came up short against the Rangers, falling 10-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Knights haven't been shut out since back in March.

With the defeat, New Milford broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-11. As for Wallkill Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-6.

New Milford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wallkill Valley, they will square off against Pequannock on Tuesday. The Golden Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Rangers surely won't give up without a fight.
