 Hidden Valley and Northside are an even 5-5 against one another  since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Hidden Valley Titans will be playing at home against the Northside Vikings at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Hidden Valley has not done well against Christiansburg recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. Hidden Valley came out on top against Christiansburg by a score of  7-2.
  Braxton Nichols was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Ryan Walding, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 Northside never got on the board in their matchup last Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against James River on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  an  11-1 margin over the Knights.
  Karter Yopp looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched.
 On the hitting side, Northside got a  massive  performance out of  Camden Spangler, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Evan Bruce, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
 The  victory  got Hidden Valley back to even at 1-1. As for Northside, they now  have a winning record of 1-0-1.
