Basketball Recap: Tattnall County Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Tattnall County waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 43-39 W against the Appling County Pirates. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Pirates two weeks ago, they had to take a 61-41 loss.

Appling County's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keniyah White, who posted 14 points and three steals. That was a full 35.9% of Appling County's points, marking the fifth time in a row White has earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Perri Mitchell, who scored eight points and 13 rebounds.
