Recap: Antwerp Archers vs. Hicksville Aces

The Antwerp Archers can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They breezed by Hicksville on the road to the tune of 65-26. While fans of Antwerp might be used to big wins, the 39-point margin marked the team's biggest victory yet this season.

Landon Brewer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Antwerp's points. Zaine McMichael was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with four steals.

The win was the fourth in a row for Antwerp, bringing their record for this year to 17-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Hicksville, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Antwerp won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Edon at 7:30 p.m. on February 10th. Hopefully Antwerp focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday. As for Hicksville, they will head out on the road to take on Edgerton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
