Softball Recap: North Greene Has No Trouble Against Unaka

North Greene barely beat Unaka the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Huskies blew past the Rangers 12-2 on Monday. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by seven runs or more this season.

North Greene is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Unaka, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Greene will take on University School at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Unaka, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Johnson County at 5:00 p.m.
