Soccer Game Preview: Princeton vs. Prosper

Princeton is 0-3 against Prosper since January of 2017 but things could change on Friday. The Panthers will face off against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Princeton's offense. They came up short against Plano West on Tuesday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Princeton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 550th, while Plano West are ranked 155th).

Meanwhile, Prosper waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let Allen get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Prosper's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five matchups.

Prosper's win bumped their record up to 6-2-4. As for Princeton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Princeton might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from Prosper when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
