Garfield Heights extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Jay'Vontae Swift. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 75-55 margin over the Maple Heights Mustangs on Thursday for which the team can thank Swift, who shot 59% from the field en route to 30 points and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Garfield Heights' victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Maple Heights, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Garfield Heights will host Shaw at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Maple Heights, they will take on Orange at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Tristan Coles and Alex McCulloch.
