Volleyball Recap: West Plains Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Plains was the 3-0 winner over Liberty when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves fell 3-1 to the Patriots on Tuesday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Plains couldn't get the W, but boy did they fight for it: two sets took extra rallies. The final score came out to 26-24, 21-25, 31-29, 25-16.

Kynzie Ward paced West Plains' offense, picking up 13 kills. Ward were helped by Bella Wineberg and CC Murillo, who contributed 12 assists each. Finally, Ward was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.

West Plains' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Liberty, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Looking ahead, West Plains will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Frenship at 7:00 p.m. As for Liberty, they will take on Wimberley in a tournament on Thursday.
