After a string of ten wins, Culver City's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to the Inglewood Sentinels 80-74. If the Centaurs were looking for revenge after losing 65-60 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Inglewood was led to victory by Jason Crowe Jr and Parker Jefferson. Crowe Jr went 13 of 32 on his way to 38 points along with seven boards and four steals, while Jefferson dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds. The contest was Crowe Jr's 20th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Danaus Cockrell, who posted nine points.

Culver City's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 17-3. As for Inglewood, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-5.

Culver City will venture away from home to take on Beverly Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Culver City knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Beverly Hills likes a good challenge. As for Inglewood, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Canyon at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Inglewood is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 86 points per game this season.
