Volleyball Recap: Berkeley Prep Comes Up Short

Berkeley Prep lost to Venice back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Buccaneers fell just short of the Indians by a score of 3-2.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Berkeley Prep sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 14-25, 26-24, 23-25, 18-16.

Berkeley Prep's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Venice, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Berkeley Prep will square off against Academy at the Lakes at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Venice, they will venture away from home to challenge Palm Grove Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
