Cedarville lost to National Trail back in April of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Indians were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Blazers.

Katelyn Reed was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Rodgers, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Cedarville's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for National Trail, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

Cedarville has already played their next matchup (against Triad), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for National Trail, they will square off against New Miami at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12 runs per game on average), something the Blazers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
