Basketball Recap: Eldon Takes a Loss

Eldon suffered their biggest loss since January 13, 2025 on Wednesday. They were beaten by the St. Elizabeth Hornets 66-34. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Mustangs' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Eldon is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-5. As for St. Elizabeth, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Coming up, St. Elizabeth won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Branson at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Eldon will be paying especially close attention to the Hornets' contest: after the Hornets face off against Fatima, they'll take on Eldon again at 6:00 p.m. on the 30th.
