Basketball Game Preview: Williamsburg Blue Pirates vs. Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils

Williamsburg and Bellwood-Antis are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Williamsburg Blue Pirates will head out to challenge the Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Williamsburg had to suffer through a 65-38 loss at the hands of West Branch. The Blue Pirates have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Bellwood-Antis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to Huntingdon at home by a 65-46 margin.

Williamsburg will have to contain Martin Fatzinger as he made an impact in Bellwood-Antis' last game. He went 6 of 15 on his way to 12 points and eight rebounds. Those 12 points gave Fatzinger a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Dorminy, who posted 13 points.

Bellwood-Antis' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Williamsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Williamsburg ended up a good deal behind Bellwood-Antis in their previous matchup back in January, losing 49-30. Can Williamsburg avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
