Soccer Recap: Tough Loss for Conval

ConVal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 5-2 to the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints. While losing is never fun, ConVal can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire soccer rankings (they are ranked 61st, while St. Thomas Aquinas are ranked 17th).

ConVal has now lost five of their last six games at home. That leaves them at a 1-6 record this season. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they have now won four of their last five games on the road. That gives them a 4-2-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. ConVal will challenge their in-conference opponent Hollis-Brookline at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, St. Thomas Aquinas is set to take on their familiar foe Lebanon at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
