Flatirons Academy won the last time they faced Loveland Classical and things went their way on Friday too. The Flatirons Academy Bison took their game with ease, bagging a 42-15 victory over the Loveland Classical Lions. The Bison have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 24 points or more this season.

Flatirons Academy was led to victory by Claire Friedman and Annabelle Rakers. Friedman went 6-for-10 on her way to 17 points and eight boards, while Rakers posted ten points along with eight assists and seven steals. The dominant performance also gave Friedman a new career-high in blocks (two). Emma Donato was another key player, putting up a point in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Flatirons Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Loveland Classical only posted two assists.

Flatirons Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.3 points over those games. As for Loveland Classical, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Flatirons Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-25 win against Lyons on the 11th. As for Loveland Classical, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 40-31 victory against Twin Peaks Classical Academy on the 12th.
