Clinton owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Fairfield Central Griffins by a score of 5-0. Winning may never get old, but the Red Devils sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Clinton's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-8-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Fairfield Central, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4.

Clinton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Griffins: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
