Volleyball Recap: Allen Snags 11th Victory in Last 12 Games

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Allen had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Coppell Cowboys 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20, 25-11.

Allen was led to victory by Landry McRae and Emily Capangpangan. McRae had 17 assists and six digs, while Capangpangan had 14 assists and four digs. McRae has been hot, having posted 12 or more assists the last six times she's played.

When it comes to explaining why Coppell lost, don't look at Molly Williams. Despite the final result, she had 17 digs and three assists.

Allen has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-6 record this season. As for Coppell, their loss dropped their record down to 20-11.

Coming up, Allen will face off against Martin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coppell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
