Canterbury is a perfect 3-0 against Estero since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cougars duke it out with the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Anthony Meady looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024.
At the plate, Adams Mejia was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashby Piatt, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last game, Estero made sure to put some runs up on the board against Golden Gate on Friday. Estero put the hurt on Golden Gate with a sharp 11-3 win.
Landon Brown was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Brown was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Evan Goeller, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Kohler Scott, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Canterbury's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.6 runs. As for Estero, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
Everything went Canterbury's way against Estero in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, as Canterbury made off with an 11-1 victory. Will Canterbury repeat their success, or does Estero have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
