Basketball Recap: Blue Ridge Christian Drops Highest Score of Season Against Mt. Carmel Christian Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Blue Ridge Christian). They breezed by the Mt. Carmel Christian Academy Warriors to the tune of 64-35 on Tuesday. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 27 points or more this season.

Mt. Carmel Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Darbi Hunsberger, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Haelyn Morris, who earned eight points.

Blue Ridge Christian's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Mt. Carmel Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
