Softball Recap: Buckeye Local Panthers vs. Brooke Bruins
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Harrison Central, Buckeye Local was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Brooke Bruins by a score of 4-1.
Karli Lander spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up seven Ks.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Missy Smith, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Adison Muldrew, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
