Fowler came tearing into Thursday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Bath Fighting Bees 56-22. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Fighting Bees are ranked 239th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fowler pushed their record up to 20-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.3 points on average over those games. As for Bath, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-11.
