Baseball Recap: Holy Family Takes a Loss

Holy Family was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 5-1 to the Centaurus Warriors. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Holy Family saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eddie Hill, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Holy Family's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Centaurus, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Family will head out to take on Monarch at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Centaurus, they will take on Riverdale Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Ravens have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
