Volleyball Recap: Omaha North Vikings vs. Columbus Discoverers
Omaha North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Columbus Discoverers.
The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Columbus to victory, but perhaps none more so than Grayson Gentile, who had seven kills, three digs, and a block. The team also got some help courtesy of Carley Kapels, who had three digs and two aces.
Omaha North's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Columbus, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.
Omaha North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory vs. Benson on the 14th. Columbus has also already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Omaha Central on the 14th.
