Franklinton is a perfect 7-0 against Vance County since August of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Red Rams will host the Vipers at 6:15 p.m.

Franklinton managed to slip by Wake Forest the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red Rams lost 6-0 to the Cougars on Monday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Vance County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against East Wake on Monday, sneaking past 3-2. Given Vance County's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while East Wake are ranked 401st) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Franklinton's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 13-7. As for Vance County, their win bumped their record up to 15-5-1.
