Katy lost to Fort Bend Elkins last Tuesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Tigers came out on top against the Knights by a score of 50-39. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Loss or not, Fort Bend Elkins got some senior leadership from Myles Allen and Chase Gray. Allen shot 60% from the field en route to 16 points, while Gray posted seven points and three steals. Allen also set a new season-high mark in three-point shooting accuracy with 67%. Jeremiah Okpamen was another key player, putting up seven points.

Katy's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Fort Bend Elkins, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

Coincidentally, Katy and Fort Bend Elkins will both be playing Eisenhower the next time they take the court. The Tigers will host the Eagles at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Knights will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
