Big game from Lemke as Hersey won 6-4
Matt Lemke turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three hits surrendered on Monday. He was dynamite, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (he also only allowed one walk).
Lemke's strong effort led Hersey over Rolling Meadows and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Hersey is 9-1 against Rolling Meadows going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
