Bishop O'Dowd had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 55-12 win over the Berkeley Yellowjackets. With the Dragons ahead 49-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Bishop O'Dowd got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lamar Ellis out in front who rushed for 129 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries. Another signal caller making a difference was Christian Cermenelli-Johnson, who threw for 146 yards and two touchdowns on only six passes.

Bishop O'Dowd now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Berkeley, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-5.
