Baseball Recap: Russell County Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Russell County's offense. They came up short against the Auburn Tigers on Wednesday, falling 11-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Warriors have suffered since March 2nd.

Russell County's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Auburn, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Russell County will welcome Park Crossing at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors are facing the Thunderbirds at the right time seeing as the Thunderbirds are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Auburn, they will be playing at home against Pike Road at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
