Basketball Recap: Elgin Takes a Loss

Elgin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Maine East Blue Demons, falling 67-39.

Elgin's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Maine East, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Elgin and Maine East will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Maroons will face off against rival Streamwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Maine East is set to take on their familiar foe Highland Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
