Josiah Moeckel Dazzles in Bellarmine Prep Victory

Starting off the list is Bellarmine Prep's Josiah Moeckel, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Moeckel picked up 85 receiving yards and a pair of scores, and also rushed for 97 yards.

Bellarmine Prep's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1. Looking ahead, Moeckel and the Lions will challenge Silas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Teaven Jones was instrumental in extending Mount Tahoma's winning streak to three on Friday. Jones did his part (and then some), picking up two sacks, forcing one fumble, and making seven total tackles for the 'W'. Jones is crushing it when it comes to sacks: he's posted at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

On the year, Jones has averaged 7.7 total tackles per game and for the season has 5 sacks. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.33 total tackles per game.

Kevin Morales Rounds Out Top Five

Rounding off our Top Five is Kevin Morales of Central Kitsap. Morales rushed for 138 yards.
