After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Keller, Northwest was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ryan Raiders, sneaking past 1-0. For Northwest, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory Ryan walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2022.

The win snapped Northwest's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 2-3-1 record. As for Ryan, their record now sits at 3-3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Northwest will challenge Bell at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ryan, they will face off against Creekview at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
