Basketball Game Preview: Ouachita Warriors vs. Hampton Bulldogs

The Ouachita Warriors will take on the Hampton Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Ouachita is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Poyen just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 50-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians.

Meanwhile, Hampton entered their tilt with Emerson on Saturday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They skirted past the Pirates 56-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since November 29, 2024.

Hampton's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Ouachita, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-3.

Ouachita beat Hampton 59-48 in their previous meeting back in January. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
