Basketball Recap: Harmony Science Academy Triumphs

There's no place like home for Harmony Science Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They pulled ahead with a 42-41 photo finish over East Austin College Prep on Thursday. That's the two time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 45-31 back in November.

Harmony Science Academy had a senior duo take command as Issa Well posted 22 points and five blocks and Reese Herd had 12 points and eight assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Well has scored all season.

The win got Harmony Science Academy back to even at 4-4. As for East Austin College Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Texas Empowerment Academy the next time they take the court. Harmony Science Academy will head out to face Texas Empowerment Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while East Austin College Prep will host them at 6:30 p.m. on December 16th.
