Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian was the 35-28 winner over Legacy Christian Academy when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans took a blow against the Eagles on Tuesday, falling 64-35. The loss was the Trojans' first of the season.

Trinity Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jordyn Lacour, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. Lacour is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Abby George was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Trinity Christian fell to 3-1. As for Legacy Christian Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will host Brighter Horizons Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Parish Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
