Basketball Recap: Link Academy Takes Down Ranked Millennium

Link Academy is ranked highly in their home state and on Thursday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Millennium. The Link Academy Lions took down the Millennium Tigers 78-62. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Link Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Davion Hannah led the charge by going 6 for 9 on his way to 16 points. The dominant performance gave Hannah a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Cenac, who went 6 of 11 en route to 14 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Link Academy has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Millennium, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-6.

Link Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 52-36 win against Bullis on the 17th. As for Millennium, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 74-43 victory against Central on the 17th.
