The Golden Demons struggled with offensive rebounds on Monday (the Littleton Lions had ten more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Golden took a hard 67-53 fall against Littleton. Golden has not had much luck with Littleton recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Golden lost, one person who can't be blamed is Allie Neal. Despite the final result, she scored 20 points along with two steals. Neal hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Presley Kirkpatrick, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds.

It was another big night for Penny Urquhart, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 19 rebounds for Littleton. Urquhart also posted eight assists for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Erica Levene, who scored 18 points.

Golden has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Littleton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-10.
